Time to say goodbye :(
Hey guys, back again this week with my final blog. I know you are all very sad but all good things must come to an end.
Today is the 5th of December, the last day of the workshops for the module and me and my group completed our workshop today saying goodbye to Digital economy. Today seemed like the perfect day to reflect on my workshop experience in both conducting one and participating in others.
I found my love and appreciation for workshops as they were extremely flexible, relaxed and more fun than a standard presentation. I looked forward to coming into the class for the last two weeks to participate in my classmates workshops.
My favourite part of the workshops has to be the icebreaker and activities, getting to apply the material taught to an activity is a great way to apply the knowledge learned and I was amazed at how creative my class mates were.
I was proud of how my team operated throughout the workshop and improvising when needed. There was a moment in the workshop during the icebreaker when 5/6 teams were tied for first place and we did not have enough prizes for 5 teams! We improvised and combined the points from the icebreaker to the points of the activity and determined a final winner... it was a close one.
Personally I struggle with public speaking especially in presentations but I loved the style of the workshop, feeling more fun than serious and ultimately I felt more comfortable and would opt for a workshop over a presentation any day!
So guys as I've mentioned, my blogs have sadly come to an end today but I am so thankful for your guys interactions and support you have given me every week this semester and I hope I was able to provide some insights on interesting topics and helped you with your blogs.
You never know, you might see me again...Never say Never!
Have a good Christmas!
