How to get engaged!
Let me guess, you've been posting weekly blogs consistently and have seen little to none engagement? Well you've come to the right place as this weeks blog we are gonna speak about what you are doing wrong but also what you might be able to improve when seeking engagement from your readers!
Firstly lets talk about the content. It is extremely important when choosing what content to include in the blog that you first ensure it is what people are interested in and are currently searching for. Use tags, keywords in your title and talk about trending topics of interest. An example of this is todays blog, the title of the blog includes a buzzword 'engaged' and 'How to get engaged' is popular search result. I might not be talking about marriage but it certainly will draw attention to my blog.
Now that you have the relevant content and the buzzwords for attraction next you just have to keep it short and sweet in order to maintain readers and encourage engagement. Keep it relevant and steer from 'dragging on' keep it short but still relevant and continue to include those key buzzwords.
Next, make it colorful! You are not writing an academic article and the reader is not looking for one so don't be afraid to add some pictures and make the page pop. This can be a great tool to break up the information and sometimes even do the explaining for you. Try to put an image at the beginning of the blog to entice readers to continue. I normally do this as you know but I wanted you guys to see what it looks like without an image and as you can see all the previous writing looks quite bare and uninteresting because of it.
